There's no resolution for the real world as you said, but some estimate the future 8K res to be somewhat akin to what the human eye can see in terms of detail and crispness (not sure if that's even a word). I'm in awe when I go to a shopping center and take a gander at those fancy 4K TV sets and the incredible images they display, I can't even imagine what it must be like in 8K.

The Wii U version looks particularly washed out. It's kinda like the PS3 version, which is not surprising as the Wii U was never supposed to be more powerful than a PS3 I believe. Here's hoping Big N comes up with a console that's at least as powerful as the PS4 this time, with the NX. They did it with the SNES and Gamecube back in the day, so I don't see why they couldn't this time, even though I'm not holding my breath on that.

Looking back it was a pretty good Final Fantasy game, at least when compared to the cr@p we get nowadays.
Thankfully I still have all my PSOne FF games (although FF VIII never worked on the PS3), and I still haven't finished Final Fantasy IX, some...yeah, 15 years after its release. It should hold me over until Final Fantasy XV, which may, or may not, be better than FF XIII, XIII-2, and XIII-3...
Why get a PS4 Pro if you don't have a 4K TV set? Well, the Pro is going to make your games look better, even if you're running them in 1080p.

Funny, I read your comment just after closing the user reviews page on amazon about the PS VR, and it's getting raving reviews all across the board. Doesn't PS VR have 960(x2)x1080 lenses? This resolution is akin to what most high-end TVs have, so how is it not enough? Even compared to VR on PC which costs 3x as much (well, the helmet that is) it's only 120 pixels less horizontally and vertically. Big deal...

I kinda expected it. Just watching a youtube video of Battlezone made me feel sick, for a little while, but really sick. I think now that was motion sickness. There must be ways around this, like releasing an update for the game that blocks your view in the case of Driveclub VR, and, suffice to say, adding actual arms after those hands floating in the air would also probably be an improvement, if only for the sake of making the whole experience more immersive, but all in all, I'm not sold...
